Wainscott is the definition of small but mighty. While the hamlet is only home to a few hundred residents — it had a one-room schoolhouse until 2008 — it has some of the most opulent homes in the Hamptons. Wainscott’s architecture is perhaps some of the Hamptons’ finest. Beautifully redone and preserved farm homes stand near some of the most luxurious mansions the East End offers.
