Sagaponack

A secluded hamlet with tranquil views of the sea. Welcome to Sagaponack.

The private and prestigious community of Sagaponack is quickly becoming one of the most exclusive hamlets in the East End. At only 5 square miles, its tiny size is a big part of its draw. It’s quieter and more tranquil than other Hamptons towns; the only public buildings in Sagaponack are the Sagg General Store and a one-room schoolhouse, both built in the nineteenth century and still in use. Many old homes and buildings have been preserved in the village’s historic district.

Sagaponack is the perfect place for rest and relaxation. Sagg Main Beach provides residents stunning views of the Atlantic without the crowds of other Hamptons hot stops. Renowned local produce stands, flower booths, and farmers’ markets offer goods from nearby family farms. The popular Wölffer Estate Vineyard, famous for its Hamptons rosé, has reservation-only tastings at its beautiful winery.

People living in Sagaponack seek a quieter, more secluded existence. You can find farmhouses, Victorians, and classic Hamptons-style homes on any of the village’s tree-lined streets. But don’t let the community’s quaint charm fool you — in true Hamptons fashion, magnificent estates dot the coast and other waterways. Its small size and exclusive atmosphere make property prices some of the highest in the East End.
