This 220 acres (89 Hectares) of pristine farmland is located in the department of Canelones in Uruguay, near Atlántida. Planted with Tannat Grapes on over 30 Acres (12 Hectares) and Verdello, and Viognier grapes on over 5 Acres (2 Hectares), the harvest equals approximately 220,462 (100,000 kg) annually, sold mainly to local Uruguayan producers. The grape variety in this farmland has won the silver prize at the “New York International Wine Competition,” last held in 2018.
The rich farmland also features a glen with a small dam that crosses the land, supplying water all year round. This property can be converted into facilities for guest houses or wineries for events and wine testing, and the design concept of how the land could be transformed has already been drafted, highlighting the property’s potential to become a wine tourist lodge.
Despite being located in a quieter and less urbanized area, the farmland is still fantastically located near the town of Atlántida – only six miles (10 km) away from the beach, fifteen miles (24 km) away from the International Airport of Carrasco, and a lovely one-hour drive away from the Uruguay’s capital city, Montevideo.
